Style and uniqueness

When designing a new project we can use various design styles but we always take into consideration some  background information about the environment and the location of the store because they have a major impact on us.
For example with the project of Optika di Moda, I wanted to ensure that the design reflected both its location (a buzzy street lined with restaurants) and the building's original 19th century features. My vision was to achieve a contemporary design whilst retaining the building's original  mid 19th century features. Or even in a romantic castle district with the sophisticated furnishing we wanted to keep the atmosphere of the past which makes the shop sylishly unique.
But what about the stores of the high end brands? In this case of course, we put functionality in the front creating a minimalist, clear, future-oriented design.
