Open office in the city center

The inner courtyard of a 6 storey office building is full of plants, so it inspired us to play on this particular theme throughout the design process: we wanted to expand the green area by smuggling nature into the office too. It is more pleasant to sit at a desk in such surroundings. To ensure that not only the green plants represent nature,  3 artificial trees were placed throughout the office. Trees are the perfect imitations of an original, the bark is lifelike and are formed with artistic care. The main challange at the beginning of this project was to integrate and combine themes to make a vibrant and inspiring working space and to create an energetic flow throughout the entire given space. Regarding the reception area, the goal was to prevent visitors encountering a typical reception desk, but rather a freer, more relaxed, youthful interior that encompasses the entire office at the entrance. So we placed 3 chairs, a coffee table and colourful screens to conceal the toilets. The glass walls that open from here make the reception open-plan with the rest of the office.The aim was to make this office well-equipped with work-promoting departments. So it caters to the worker’s active social lifestyle through an open plan space which includes a second kitchen with dining area, treadmill, playstation, all designed as one zone called relaxation hall.
