Although the centre fulfils medical objectives, most of the visitors are volunteers. The brief was to design an environment which is less associated with the strict atmosphere of healthcare. The application of conventional colours: white, light green and light blue needed to be infringed.
Although the serious hygienic demands applied significant restrictions, with the assistance of colours and shapes a much friendlier, more playful interior could be created. The white interior is not isolated for a second as a result of the presence of bright colours: on the floor colourful lines are crawling, and the ceiling is dominated by large, bright circles. Lockers dwell on the wall like a giant Tetris game. The armchairs on the first floor bear strong colours, likewise does the ceiling. The huge white pendants of the reception hall with their unique shapes drive every form of rigour far away from the building.
