The appearance of a store has an impact on the mood, the emotions and the impressions of the customers so practically it influences the consumption. In a well-designed store the furniture helping the sale may become part of the decoration so the client doesn’t find it self-assertive and pushy.
The design of the KODAK Lens stores in Eastern Europe is done by Csiszér Design. As the result of their work, stores have been born where colours have come to life creating a positive feeling. Therefore the customers enjoy themselves while shopping for eyewear, which was an important aspect when developing the concept.

We managed to match our very clearly defined goals with a well-prepared and clear interior design which- we knew from the beginning-would lead our restaurant into a new era. The positive feedback and change in the commercial dynamics, we have experienced since the conversion, support our principal that nowadays it is vital to have a professionally designed restaurant of pleasant atmosphere besides a professionally working team. The two go in pairs on the path of success.

I have known Tamás Csiszér since the end of the 20th century. I was designing the interior of the stores of an optical company and he was providing these shops with installation units at that time. These well-functioning and creative products were designed and produced by Tamás. Our work together eventually ended but we had had a long and fruitful cooperation. The following years I met him as a colleague, not in person but through his work. The pieces of his work are remarkable displaying a good sense of style, taste, imagination and a great variety of forms and colours.
I am happy for his success and I wish he continued his work at such a high level. This publication should contribute to his success in a great extent.
